Stitching is a great way to connect the pieces of your design and create unity in your pages.  You can use it to make several colors and patterns feel like a collection or use it to tie several elements on your page together physically.  In my page After the Leaves Fall I used  a swirl of stitching to help tie in some of the floating pieces of my page design and to reinforce my page’s theme.  How do you use stitching in your pages?

After the Leaves Fall

Supplies: Homestead Collection by SEI, Boardwalk Kit by Studio Calico, Little Sprout Paper by Crate Paper, steel wool, buttons and sewing machine.
