In my page, “Frosting Face”  I had some fun bringing together some very artsy elements with some very cutesy ones to create the perfect page to commemorate my son’s first birthday. The fact that both sets of elements used the same color scheme made them easy to use together on the page, but the key was the repeated detail of the black doodles present in both the artsy background paper and in the birthday stickers that really fused these two style together for a cohesive look.  Now you give it a try and don’t forget that one little detail that ties it all together!
