You can use lines in a variety of ways to direct the eye in your scrapbook pages.  You can use them to point to page elements to underline and even frame them.  In my page “Rocket Seat” I used a background paper with radiating lines on it.  The point at which all of these lines come together is a focal point on the page and that is why I made sure to position my title there.  My photo is a low quality photo and its difficult to see all of the details so I chose to highlight my title to help establish a little more meaning in my page.  Try using lines to direct the eye where you need it most  in your next page design.
