What do you think the reigning trend of 2012 will be? Why not try using one of your favorite icons from the previous year as a focal point in your next layout. In my page “Born in the Year of the Owl” I built my entire layout around that cute little woolie owl element which was definitely a huge trend in 2010 (and remains one today)! Sometimes it can be fun to start our pages with a trendy product we’re excited to use and go from there–give it a try!
